For a while I was trying to understand what exactly meant living in the present. I was so involved in my tumultuous amount of thoughts that I had no idea how to separate my present thoughts from those of the past and the future. To me it was like one huge lump of thoughts.
After lots of reading and practicing, I finally understood what living in the present really meant and today I want to share my findings with you.
If you had to walk around a mountain, wouldn’t you like a guide on the top that can see everything and guide you through the best possible route? And how about a guide like that that can guide you to your most fulfilling life? You already have that guide inside of you guiding you all the time. Your guide is your Soul and all you need to do now is to learn how to feel and understand Its direction.
Wouldn’t be nice to have your inner foundation so solid and strong that no matter what winds came your way you would not be shaken?
This is possible when you know who you are, when you recognize your own truths and when you learn how to strengthen your inner center.
The most important thing we can ever do to have a happy, fulfilled and peaceful life is to get to know ourselves. So, do you know you?
It’s time we begin connecting with ourselves to finally obtain that inner peace we are looking for everywhere.
Have you ever been told that you are 100% responsible for everything that is in your life? That you choose what you live? That you create your own reality?
When I learned that I, indeed, am the only one responsible for my own life, I decided that I was going to take the driver's seat, and along with my internal guidance system, I would make of my life whatever I wanted it to be.
Have you had the feeling that your mind is something separate from you? You can let it run with out you, or you can train it to follow your lead. Yes, you have more control of your mind than you think.
There are many ways you can use to calm your mind. Here I'm giving you the 9 methods I've used depending on how I feel.
Have you ever been in a mode where you start thinking about something and go on and on without stopping? This process is good when you like what you are thinking, but what happens when you don't like it?
Brainstorming is a very useful tool when doing it consciously, being aware of what you are thinking, but not so much when doing it unconsciously.
Most of us are used to think whichever thought comes to our mind. But if you really want to be in control of your life, you need to be more deliberate and choose which thoughts you want to pay attention to.
At some time or another you might have heard that your life is the result of your actions. That you are responsible for your destiny. That you create your own reality. All of this means that you and only you are the responsible for what happens in your life. I totally agree with this idea and I want to explain to you why it is true.
