Have you ever noticed how you don't want to be close to a person that is always complaining about life, that is always asking for money, and that is always criticizing others? What do you sense when you see them coming? Their vibes and a feeling that you don't want to be interacting with that person for sure.
Now, imagine all the thoughts that come to that person. For sure thoughts of unfairness, lack, and judgment. Do you think they never get good thoughts of prosperity, positivism and hope? They sure do, but they are in a bad receptive mood that they are not allowing themselves to receive, hear, and 'see' those thoughts.
Which Thoughts Are You Allowing In?
The main reason that a person with a negative vibe cannot hear positive thoughts is because they are not allowing it.
A person with a mood in the 30 range of The Joy Scale, will most likely keep receiving and hearing and seeing thoughts that keep supporting them to stay in that range.
But if a person whose mood is mostly in the 70, will most likely keep receiving and hearing and seeing thoughts that keep supporting them to stay in that range.
Your emotional state creates your vibe, which works as a filter for the thoughts you receive. But you are in total control of that filter always. All you have to do is feel better to think better.

How to Allow Positive Thoughts
It's a choice. It is always a choice.
The first step in wanting to allow positive thoughts coming to you, is to decide that is what you want.

When negative thoughts come to you, just see them but don't pay attention to them. Don't spend any energy there. The same way you do when you are at the grocery store and see all options of toothpaste. You just see them and pass them by. Do the same with those thoughts that do not serve you.
You can also participate in experiences that will help you promote positive thoughts. The possibilities are endless.
You will see that little by little you will easily recognize them and go towards them more instinctively. Even though it will not happen overnight, you are already on a journey to a better life, and if you continue, you will get there.
