One of the causes of suffering in our lives has to do in great part with how we see what surrounds us. Fortunately there is a way to diminish that suffering by understanding the difference between “This” and “Now”.
It’s time we begin looking at happiness differently. Happiness is not a destination to get to, nor a journey you go through. Happiness is right here, right now, where you live. Happiness is an emotional state where you live most of the day. Happiness is a home; an emotional home.
We all love happy endings, don’t we? In most stories we hear or watch we expect a happy ending, and if we don’t get it, we don’t like the story. But, how about in our personal stories? Can we have happily ever afters in our lives?
We are not always happy and I’m totally sure it was not intended to always be that way; although I think it was intended to be that way most of the time.
