Heaven is not a place
You can feel Heaven on this world as the strongest feeling of alignment you have with your Spirit.
That is correct. Heaven is the strong connection we have with who we really are; with our Source of Light. The stronger the connection with our Source, the stronger the feeling of being in heaven.
The stronger the dis-connection from our Source, the stronger the feeling of not being in heaven. Or should I say, the strongest the dis-connection from our Source, the stronger the feeling of being in hell.
If you are connected to your Soul, you know what to do. You know what directions and choices are aligned with your intention for being in this world. When you are off track from that intention, you feel terrible.
Those terrible emotions are indicators in your body from your Soul trying to tell you that you’re off track. Those terrible emotions and feelings sometimes make us believe we are living in hell, and we are.
Heaven and hell in this world are therefore emotional states of connection and disconnection, respectively, from who we really are; Spirit.
Ask yourself whether the dream of heaven and greatness should be waiting for us in our graves - or whether it should be ours here and now and on this earth.” –Ayn Rand
On Earth as it is in Heaven
The reason I asked you twice if you really want to live in heaven is because some people are really comfortable feeling victims, feeling angry, feeling depressed. They might not know it consciously, but unconsciously they may be using their situation to control and manipulate others.
Manipulation never feels good to the person who does it, nor to the person or persons feeling manipulated. If somebody doesn’t feel bad manipulating others, that only means that they are quite disconnected from their Spirit and are living in hell.
Negative emotions don’t feel good. Not feeling good is not living in heaven. Choose to live in heaven by leaving all that drama behind.
In heaven there’s freedom from needing to manipulate and control. When you feel good you don’t have a need to control anything nor anyone because your joy does not depend on anything or anyone. You joy depends on your perception, on what you feel, and on knowing who you really are.
When we’re each aware of our own Magnificence, we don’t feel the need to control others, and we won’t allow ourselves to be controlled.” –Anita Moorjani
Choose Heaven right now
Desiring to live a more positive life does not mean you will never have any other negative experiences in life; that is impossible. Those experiences are needed; they are part of this earth experience.
Eventually we all go and spend some time in the negative emotions, but we don’t have to spend more time than necessary. By deciding and changing your perspective, you begin to move to the positive emotions and go back to feel better sooner.
Taking care of you is always first and foremost. Just like in an airplane safety advice, take care of you before you begin taking care of others.
Taking care of us first does not mean being selfish. Taking care of us first means preparing ourselves to help others.
We need to teach this to everyone. First, we need to unlearn what we were taught, and then we need to teach others how to take care of themselves with our own example.
Adults and children need to see more often that it is possible and okay to pay attention to ourselves first, to take care of ourselves first, to love ourselves more.
Choose to live in heaven; heaven IS here. This world, this life, IS Heaven.” –CLI
