When we fail at something we feel shame. But we need to understand that it’s only through failure that we become stronger, wiser and smarter.
Failure is another set of stairs of the same road to success. If you don’t fail you’re not advancing towards your goals and dreams. So keep moving, keep failing and keep succeeding.
Don’t fear failure
If failure truly existed, then children would be experts at failing. When they fall after trying to walk, they don’t sit down to cry and swear to themselves to never try it again. They don’t. The very next thing they do after a fall is to try again with the knowledge from the last fall.
And that’s exactly what we should be doing. We have the knowledge from the last failure, we’re stronger, wiser and smarter, but then, why do we stop trying again? I say because the pain and shame of the fall is stronger than the desire to reach the goal.
Don’t let that happen to you. Always make your desire to reach a goal stronger than the fear of failure.
Consider failure in your road to success
If your fear of failure is strong it’s because you have not considered the necessary failures within your road to success. If you consider failure and are prepared for it, then there would be no pain. There would just be an awareness that something needs to be done differently and you would keep working on your goal.
You don’t have to worry about what others think and say. It’s not like we have an audience following us around everywhere we go to boo us when we fail or clap when we succeed at something. And if you do, don’t worry, people’s attention span these days is very short.
Remember, you don’t have to carry unnecessary shame in your life. So, just focus and do your thing. After much thought and planning, work at it again and again until you achieve what you so much desire. Who knows, maybe in one of those “failures” you find something new.
Fail like the experts

So instead of being afraid of failure, plan for it and focus more on the feeling of achievement, progress and fulfillment; and watch yourself grow the next time you fail.
